Future Battery Technology by South Korea
We must have suffered a battery loss at the time when its needed most but this could change in future as Prof.cho jae-phil and his team of Korea has developed a batteries for portable devices which last 8 times longer than recent one.
According to them cathode materials which is used in battery can increase the storage capacity of lithium secondary batteries to eight-fold. Graphite which is used in cathode can store limited amount of lithium ion but in this new technology silicon is used instead of graphite and its eight fold increases its storage capacity.
This is technology is not going to come in the market in recent years as it just in development proses but let us hope to come soon so we can run our portable electronic gadget for longer period.
