Thermal imaging system for cars and motorcycle by FLIR "PathFindIR"

Thermal imaging system is a system through which you can see at Night or in dusty and foggy condition, this system uses heat, and not light so you can see beyond the reach of your head light, this system is already is been used by military, but now company like FLIR who is partnered with Mercedes has lunched this system at CES 2009 called PathFindIR for cars and motorcycles.

The PathfindIR is very easy to install in your SUV,truck,cars or motorcycle, it uses same technology which company FLIR offers to military,it has 36 deg field of view lens, gives better vision at night for seeing pedestrians and animals walk at roadside or crossing road. No price is announced yet but it will soon hit the market.

The new concept car by mazda "KAAN"

The Future is relay going to be green, clean and Fast, Mazda has recently shown new futuristic concept race car design KAAN for futuristic tracks of 2025 at LA Auto Show's Motorsports 2025 Design Challenge. KAAN has electric tire system technology which helps it to reach 250 mph with zero emissions, this technology is patented by Mazda.

Designer's of KAAN are Jacques Flynn,Carlos Salaff,Minyong Lee,Greg Lee,Tim Brown & Jordan Meadows, according to them they get the inspiration form the electric fields and textures seen in nature. The care the very well designed on electric wheels and its cockpit is safe for its driver.

A cool looking Venturi Volage Roadster is showcased at Paris Motor Show, it could be the next generation in electric vehicle, it is developed by Michelin it has Active Wheel Technology which means to fit suspension, electric motor and brakes in entire wheel envelope which free some space for carbon fiber chassis weighting 2,369 pounds and also helps in powering wheels independently and so gives adetional control on vehicle.

Peugeot New Concept Car 888

Peugot 888 concept is a two seater electric vehicle desing by Oskar Johansen of Norway. This vehicle is design for city driving it has unique hydrulic tilting system which raises the driver cockpit for better visibllity and manouverablity to make sharp u-turn in narrow area.


The 888 is one of the 23 finalists in the Fifth bi-annual Peugeot Design Competition which is now open for voting via the internet. Some lucky voter will win XBOX360 consoles Between now and September 16, those who vote in the contest to choose the final ten contestants will become eligible to win one of 20 XBOX360 consoles. On September 16, the final ten will be announced on on October 2, the winner will be announced at the Paris Motor Show.

Concept BMW 2015 "BMW ZX-6"

We must have seen may concept cars but this car is relay displaying new way to travel on future roads. it has nice aerodinamic design and new concept to set in this car. This car is design developed by the students of Turin-based istituto Europeo di Design(IED) institute in collaboration with BMW.

The students were told to take insperation from the nature surrounding, natural materials like water sea etc. They have relay worked out nice.

As this is a concept car we are not going to see this cars on roads but who knows we might see it in near future so called after 2015. [carbodydesign]
